Tinting Laws

The Maryland Department of Transportation has some tough laws when it comes to window tinting, including color and placement of film. Maryland Law requires two door coupes, four door sedans, and the front passenger and driver windows of trucks, vans, & SUVs to have a 35% visible light transmission. We install 40% tint, to ensure your car will pass inspection after it is applied to the glass. We also have the appropriate shades of tint to ensure surrounding states, such as Virginia, DC, and Pennsylvania, will also be legal.
